(169) Athanasius Kircher’s Aeolian harp
It is unfortunate that this forum offers room for a philosophical assessment of Atlantis but has no theological option. In the attached URL you can see an image of an aeolian harp from Athanasius Kircher. We can learn a lot about Atlantis from the image. Thus we see that the harp is mirrored, just as the two Pillars of Hercules stood opposite each other like mirrors. And actually just as the five twin kings of Atlantis were mirror images of each other. Athanasius Kircher also drew a map of Atlantis. On the map we see the same thing: an island of Atlantis that was in the middle of the ocean. If we look closely, we see that Africa and South America were mirrored. This was not a mistake but was done on purpose. Athanasius Kircher’s map of Atlantis thus corresponds to his depiction of the aeolian harp. So could it not be the case that the island of Atlantis also represents a harp on the map? Same shape as the Sea of Galilee. Indeed, we read in Psalm 49: 4 that this lake has the shape of a harp.
