The new as a blueprint for the old
To understand the relation between Atlantis and rebuilt Endtimes Babylonin Zacharia 5:11 we have to zoom in on Genesis 1:27.
First in Colossians 1:16 we read a stunning message: all creation was created in Him. This word “Him” is of course the resurrected Christ. How could the Eiffeltower be created in Him? That is beyond my grasp. But the Bible teaches us that this is the case with all creation that was created in Him Who had to be born yet.
Back in Genesis 1:27 we read that Adam and Eve were created in His image. Most people think that they were created in the image of God. But this is not what is written here. The image of God was again: Christ. So Adam was created according to the blueprint who was Christ and who had to be born thousands years later. When God created Adam, He had Christ already in mind. In 1 Corinthians 15:45, Jesus was called the last Adam.
To make it more complicated; when Jesus was born – not on Christmas of course – but very likely around Pesach (Luke 2:42), He was born in a world that was created in Him before He was born. Does someone understand this? No.
To knock up a little bit more with our view of time, I recall the events in Luke 9:31. John, James and Peter received on this mountain (Hermon?) a trailer of the coming Kingdom. In this trailer they saw the resurrected Christ together with Moses and Eliah. The coming crucifixion of Christ was a third Exodus after the first and second Exodus from Egypt and Babylon. For this reason Moses and Eliah were in the game. Moses was the guy who had led the Israelites out of Egypt. Eliah was the guy who had to come before the Kingdom of Christ was heralded.
In this vision that looked so real that Peter wanted to build three tents, we see the resurrected Christ in the far future talking with Moses and Eliah about His coming crucifixion on Golgotha. So when Jesus returns He will one more time remind us of what happened 2000 years ago on that hill outside Jerusalem.
So what does this have to do with Atlantis? I believe that Endtimes Babylon was a blueprint for Plato’s Atlantis. If Jesus was the last Adam aka the fulfillment of Adam, then Endtimes Babylon in Zacharia 5:11 is the last Atlantis or better: the Fulfillment of Atlantis. How Plato knew all this is beyond my grasp. Adam received his information from a celestial being, named God. Plato, Solon or the mysterious priest in Sais (who was he anyway?) should have received the Atlantis story from a celestial being too. But this time it was a much more darker celestial being. I am sure about that.
