I assume that most visitors here know their theories. Edgar Cayce claimed that Atlantis existed many thousands years ago. Robert Bauval connected the position of the sphinx with the celestial orientation of about 11.500 years ago. But both did not understand the principle of the aionian times that is hidden in the Bible, see for example Ephesians 3:9, 11 (www.scripture4all.org). We live in the third aion. The past two aions had a completely different ordening. There were no islands for example. So there was no Atlantis. Only the city of Enoch was a blueprint for Atlantis before the Flood. This city reïncarnated into Babylon only 100 years after the Flood.

Then Robert Schoch writes about the erosion of the sphinx. There is both a horizontal and a vertical erosion. The horizontal erosion could have been caused by the flooding of the Nile Delta. The vertical erosion could have been caused by the 7th plague of hail. But this plague was also heavy rainfall (Exodus 9:33-34). There was a psychological effect because the Egyptians had never seen hail.

Resuming I can say that the sphinx dates from the Exodus periode, about 1470 BC or 1499 years before the stoning of Stephan followed by a Jubilee year. The sphinx is Baal Tsaphon and a reference to the Lord of the North who is the coming king of Babylon.

The horizontal erosion of the sphinx could also have been caused by the Flood of the Exodus when pharao’s army disappeared into the waves: Exodus 14:28; 15.
